Rivas Family

How can I go wrong with working with one of my favorite clients.  Claudia called me and asked- "Do you do any family portraits??"  There family was in need of something spunky and fun.  For years they have been taking pictures at your normal studio location like "Sears".  But not this year, they decided to go bold!  I love this family!

This is going to be a good Christmas Card Portrait.

Kari & Ryan

Another beautiful fall wedding.  Overcast day = beautiful portraits.  And just like my previous wedding Kari and Ryan decided to see each other before the ceremony so they could enjoy their cocktail hour with all their guests.  They married at the Greek Orthodox Church in Modesto.  This was a first for me and I really loved it!  The ceremony was beautiful.  -I know I use the word "beautiful" a lot. :)

Kari wore her grandmothers blue ring.  Her neckless was also grandmas wedding diamond.

I love to see my couples laughing.  It's so contagious.

The mother of the groom had a little accident after the ceremony.  She slipped and broke her arm!  Thanks to Ryan being a Paramedic in all she was in and out of the hospital in an hour.  She was such a sport about the whole incident.

Evelia & Marco

This was an incredibly sweet wedding.  They decided to see each other before the ceremony since ceremony was at 5:00 p.m.  There were so many lovely details.  The bride and groom were united by the same Lazo Evelia's parents had for their wedding.  One of the little guys wore the same bow tie that Evelia's dad wore at his wedding.  Marco sang a sweet song to the bride during the reception.  Marco's son surprised Evelia with a sweet rose during the dancing.  Try to look out for all of these details throughout the slideshow.  Click here for their slideshow.

Liz & John

I love this couple.  Since our first initial meeting John already knew what he wanted for their Engagement session.  He wanted to incorporate his tractor into their session, which I personally thought was so cool.  I told myself  wow a guy who brings ideas to the table how awesome is that!  I also got to shoot for the first time at a little western ranch in Stevinson CA.  I forgot the name of it but I think it's called Double T Bar Ranch?  Not too sure.   Something different for me!  Yay! 

Samantha

Samantha is a beautiful young girl from Modesto High.  She is so talented in many ways.  She originally wanted her session at the beach because she loves to surf.  She's also a great opera singer as well as a ballet dancer and once a cheerleader.  This girl has it going on.  She is now hoping to attend San Luis Obispo University.  I know she will do great!
